The Redwood Difference
Our structures are not like anyone else’s! Our high quality swing sets and treehouses are made from 100% Domestic California Redwood, whereas, most other swing set companies use imported wood. Backyard Fun Factory ONLY uses lumber from harvested Redwoods because we want to preserve the Redwood Forest. Another reason we choose Redwood is that it holds its shape and integrity longer than other types of wood.
The Experience Difference
All of our high quality swing sets and treehouses are Made in the USA, while our competitors use imported wood. All our wooden components are manufactured in our factory in Justin, Texas. Each play system is custom designed to fit your family, space and most budgets (not all playground companies have the ability to make this happen). In order to make this level of customization possible, we have a Mechanical Engineer and Designers on staff. The owner has over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and design of these wonderful residential products.

Backyard Fun Factory offers a Lifetime Warranty on our high quality swing sets, while many of our competitors offer a limited warranty. We believe and stand behind our product. Details of our warranty can be found on the last page of our catalog and on our website. As always, we strive to provide the safest and highest quality play systems on the market today, criteria not all playground companies consider a top priority. All wooden edges are rounded to reduce splintering and all our hardware is recessed in play areas for safety. In addition, we do not use nails or staples when assembling our products, we only use bolts and screws to ensure lasting quality and strength. Swing hangers are heavy duty, all hardware is electro-galvanized, and all metal brackets and rungs are powder coated. We continually try to identify every necessary safety precaution and address it.
The Customer Service Difference
We offer full services including installation, maintenance, and relocation, as well as reconfigure your custom playset as your family grows. Our redwood playsets are made to be assembled and reassembled with ease, an added benefit for our customers as their family’s needs change. If you choose to do the maintenance on your own, we are here to assist you through that process as well. Our installers are well trained and knowledgeable when it comes to building a sturdy and safe, yet fun, playset/swing set. We recommend your set be inspected prior to each play season, your child’s safety is very important to us. Big box store playsets leave you alone to take care of their product without offering any additional services. We do not recommend that for your most prized possession, your children. We want to make sure you are taken care of before, during and after the initial install of your fort.
The Level Dry Pad Difference
Backyard Fun Factory recommends Level Dry Pads under each play system. This helps prevent damage from weed eaters and ground moisture. Out of all the years that we have been building and installing play structures, the number one cause of deterioration is ground contact. With Level Dry Pads, we have already witnessed a huge difference in the protection of ground beams and uprights. The pads also help when leveling your play system to fit the space.
The Aesthetic Difference
We design our swing sets with whimsical, crooked windows and curved roofs. To create this effect, every board has to be cut at different lengths and angles. These added features bring our products to life. We take pride in making sure our playsets are aesthetically pleasing to your family, as well as your neighbors. We choose natural colors to blend in to nature, instead of overly bold colors that stand out and make an eye sore for the neighborhood. As an added design element, we put an arch above ladders and slides so adults can play too! Our playsets are designed to grow with your child with a variety of playset additions and options offered.
