Backyard Fun Factory was established in 2004. Our business has expanded to provide families throughout the nation with quality American Made play systems.  Our President and designer, Jarrod Jeffcoat, has 30 years experience in the manufacturing and design of children’s play systems.

Providing the safest and highest quality play system on the market today is the goal of this company.  He, as well as other members of the Backyard Fun Factory Staff, have served this industry since 1993 and are committed to creating the best products available.

ABOUT THE JEFFCOAT FAMILY

Backyard Fun Factory is a family business. We are dedicated to serving our customers the way we would liked to be served.  Jerry and Davene Jeffcoat are the founders of Backyard Fun Factory.

Davene, a retired music teacher, touched the lives of thousands of young students over her 30 year music career. She has always been the soul of this family business.

Jerry Jeffcoat retired from the oil and gas industry. He served as a superintendent over a natural gas processing plant for most of his career. Both Davene and Jerry, have served and worked with others and influenced all of us with their old fashioned values and work ethics.

Jerry Jeffcoat showed a love and passion for people that was contagious and he truly never met a stranger. He is the passion behind our brand. Jerry & Davene were married for over 55 years and have 3 children who play a different role at Backyard Fun Factory. We all enjoy the idea that our product is able to strengthen families all over the Nation.

A NOTE FROM JARROD

Our goal at Backyard Fun Factory is to celebrate family and have children grow up with wonderful, lasting childhood memories at home. Memories that include Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, and most important, Grandma and Grandpa. Having kids of my own, it was always hard to get the kids to interact with anyone when the video games and so many other things are competing for their attention.

  I first realized the impact that backyard forts or play structures have on a family when we were preparing displays for our catalog photo shoot a few years ago at my parent’s home.  My Parents were sitting outside cooking burgers and watching the kids play when the words “look at me Papaw!” started ringing out over and over. Seeing the delight in my Mom and Dad’s face re-enforced that I had selected to create an awesome tool for families to engage with one another.
