We Love to See How Time Changes Things

It is amazing when we get to customize a playset for a family.  We get to know the family and we find their wants and needs in a playset and the best place to put it. But that’s not all!

We usually get to meet the children the set is designed carefully for.  They tell us stories of their day, and delight in hearing the playset plans.

Usually during our installation of the set there are little shining faces waiting in the wings.  Watching with bright eyes and anticipation to make their first climb to the top.

And it is so rewarding to step back when the playset is ready and watch the children’s smiles as they run to take the first steps on the ladder or to swing.  Maybe they check out the Lemonade Stand and sell you an imaginary cup.  Sometimes they have a Mud Pie Kitchen and pat their little hands together imagining making mud pie patties.  There are so many different types of swings they may have to try.  Bridges and porches for a child to run through and around. But their favorite of course, is always to climb up to the fort and look out the windows with a wave then zoom down the rocket slide.

Fun is Our Middle Name

Could there be anything better to see?  Well, sometimes we get to go visit months or years later to put an addition onto their playsets.  Kids grow so fast, it’s incredible to see how much they’ve changed.

And like MAGIC, time has changed one of OUR playsets into THEIR playset.  We see tubs and chairs in the fort with a chalkboard for teaching school, or maybe water cannons and blankets for fort fortifications.  Sidewalk chalk written prices for their lemonade with a real cup and pitcher, or perhaps they sell mud pie nachos and hamburgers on plastic plates.  A chalk written sign that says “NO Girls Allowed” with the NO exed out, because yes, time changes things.

It is heart-warming to see our creation of wood, plastic and metal become an integral part of the family, and a cherished memory of the children who will continue to grow to maybe have kids of their own to play. The playset comes to have a life and personality, to be a member of the family.  We love this!  THIS, is why Fun is our middle name.

Recently we have been working on our new store and showroom in Frisco, Texas.  As we work, you can feel the excitement we have, to be able to reach new families with our playset designs and customizations.  We have been working so hard from the grass turf in the showroom to what playsets would be best to showcase.  We hope to meet new families, and to customize many new playsets just for their personal wants and needs.  Our new showroom is located at 301 King Road #1 in Frisco, Texas.  Come on by and have a look, we would love to meet you!
