How Does Our Redwood Playsets Grow With Your Child’s Ages and Stages?
Backyard Fun Factory redwood playsets are modular by design making it easy to add to them through your child’s many ages and stages. Our backyard swing sets are available in 5’, 6’ and 7’ deck heights. Having the different deck heights allows parents to purchase age appropriate playsets for their child.
5 Foot – 5.5 Foot Level Playsets
Backyard Fun Factory’s starting deck height is 5’. This playset height is perfect for younger children that are just learning how to climb, swing and slide. Our Fort Concho and Fun Shack playsets are all available at the 5’ deck level. Our Fort Davis swing set has a 5.5′ deck level. As your children grow, the Fort Davis and Fun Shack can be designed with age appropriate multi-level options. As with all our swing sets, you can add endless amounts of swing set accessories to keep your wooden swing set fun and new in your backyard!
6 Foot Level Redwood Playsets
The 6′ playset deck height is a great height for both younger kids that need a challenge, as well as, older kids. Our Maverick, Fort Ranchero, Fort Stockton, and Ticonderoga playsets are all available at the 6’ deck level. Subsequently, this deck height allows for more space under the fort and gives a wider swing radius. As your child grows, you can add a 7’ Look Out Shack and/or a 5’ Half Shack, for example, to the Maverick, Fort Stockton or Ticonderoga swing set. Need more deck space? Design your redwood play set with a Fun Deck, giving more play area. Since our playsets are modular, you can add the Fun Deck later for a fun place for kids to view the wild blue yonder.
7 Foot Level Redwood Playsets
Our tallest swing set deck height is 7’, this is one amazing outdoor playset. The 7’ height makes for challenging climbers. It also allows kids to swing higher than any of our other swing beams! Our Mustang, Fort Stockton, and Fort Ticonderoga playsets are all available at the 7’ deck level. This swing set deck height is perfect for the older kids. Furthermore, with our modular playset add-ons, this deck height can accommodate younger kids until they are ready for the more challenging obstacles. Consequently, you can make your backyard swing set a tri-level, for example, by adding an 8’ Look Out Shack and a 6’ Half Shack. In addition, this fort height gives more clearance on the lower level of the playset to hang a daybed swing.
